About City

Bangkok the capital of Thailand, is a large city known for it’s ornate shrines and vibrant street life. The boat-filled Chao Phraya River feeds its network of canals, flowing past the Rattanakosin royal district, home to opulent Grand Palace and its sacred Wat Phra Kaew Temple. Nearby is Wat Pho Temple with an enormous reclining Buddha and, on the opposite shore, Wat Arun Temple with its steep steps and Khmer-style spire.

Bangkok is one of the most visited cities in the world because of its popular and populous city attractions like Wat Arun, Floating markets, Khao San Road, The Grand Palace, Soi Cowboy, The Thai massage, Tailored suits, Chatuchak Weekend Market, Chatuchak Weekend Market, Sky Bar and Hotel, Bang Krachao Gardens.

Other than that, despite its size and relatively high level of development compared to other cities in Southeast Asia, Bangkok can be an incredibly affordable place to travel if you are planning to live and eat like a local. It is possible to get by on 1,000 to 1,500 baht per day in Bangkok.

The best way to get around Bangkok is by Skytrain or Metro, which is fast, affordable and easily navigable for visitors. The city also has an extensive network of buses, but these are very prone to traffic jams. Taxis are fairly cheap, but again you should avoid due to gridlock issue.
